Kylin Network W3F Grant Milestone 1 Successful Completion

Dear Kylians,

Today we are bringing you the latest updates on Kylin Network’s Web3 Grant. Back in October of 2020, we submitted our Open Grant Proposal to the Web3 Foundation for support and validation, and on Feb 8th this year we were officially recognized in the list of the Wave 8 Recipients.

The Web3 Foundation Grants Program has now surpassed the 200 grants milestone, an indication of a growing network and a thriving ecosystem. We are proud to say that we helped lead that curve!

Since the grants program started in December 2018, according to the data published earlier, there have been more than 500 applications, more than 200 of which were accepted and 112 teams have successfully delivered their first milestone. And we are proud to say we are one of the projects that delivered.

Since Kylin Network is developed based on the Substrate framework, which makes full use of the capability of Substrate, it saves a lot of development work at the underlying blockchain, and focuses on the business logic. As shown below, the architecture of Kylin Network consists of the Substrate Core, Runtime, Contracts Layer, and Interaction Layer. The below is a more illustrated way to view Kylin Network.
