Kylin Network Monthly Report #6
Dear Kylians,
We are happy to update the Kylin Community on the progress that has been made in the last month of quarter 2 of 2021. We are now heading into the 3rd quarter of 2021 which means some of our biggest milestones are fast-approaching, namely the Polkadot Parachain Auctions and with that Mainnet. We achieved a lot in the last couple of months and June has been no exception when it comes to fundamental growth and progress. Some highlights of this past month include: A notable mentioned in Benzinga, the announcement of a 6 episode series on New to the Street, (a syndicated program featured on Bloomberg TV), the invention of a novel concept and vehicle for kickstarting DeData called ‘DDMOs’, and many new partners. In addition, we are in the process of now starting to actively approach our partners to work with them on technical integration. Step-by-step, we get closer to our goal of a DeData world.
Rococo Testnet
June started with a big bang and one of our biggest achievements to date. We managed to get a Parachain running live on the Rococo Testnet and were able to test it in that environment for 40 or so hours. Testnet has been up and running smoothly for a while but we are very proud to have achieved this major milestone much sooner than expected. We want to thank our entire developer team lead by Sam Elamin for pulling this off in such a short amount of time!
Partnership Development
We are getting used to it, but as always Kylin Network added several partners that will actively use the service Kylin will provide to the already impressive list. 6 New partners joined the DeData Ecosystem. Check out all info on the new partnerships in the links below:

Infographic Contest
In may we started our infographic contest. The goal was to create a info graphic/one-pager that is legible and visualises how Kylin Network works. Wear a Hood for Good Program
We were really looking forward to announce the ‘Wear a Hood for Good’ program. Kylin Network has been giving away and rewarding loyal community members with Kylin hoodies and noticed that there is a pretty high demand for it. We believe we now have found a good use for the hoodies!
One of the biggest advantages of cryptocurrency payments is the possibility to donate charity directly to the source. No middlemen taking out money on the way to its final destination, but P2P transactions to those who need it!
We never intended to make money from merchandise and decided to use this as an opportunity to make a positive impact through our ‘Wear a Hood for Good’ program! Check the link to find out all details:
DDMOs — a DeData catalyst for Kylin Network
One of our biggest milestone in the making has been made public in June and in our opinion this is a revolutionary idea that will speed up usage and adoption of Kylin’s data infrastructure.

DDMOs stands for “DeData market Offering” which will be a cornerstone of our decentralized data marketplace and will be beneficial to the project, community and product users!

Benzinga
For the 2nd time Kylin Network has been mentioned in one of the articles of Benzinga. The first article that was published in November 2020 in mentioned Kylin when they were highlighting the importance of decentralized data feeding. This time they referred to Kylin Network as, another project worthy of your attention ahead of its upcoming testnet launch.

New to the Street TV Broadcast
Never a dull day in crypto and this definitely goes for Kylin Network. Out of the blue, Kylin Network CEO Dylan Dewdney surprised us with the announcement that he has been invited to be interviewed by Jane King, the New to the StreetTV show’s host. They will be talking about the fundamental on-goings at Kylin, the New to The Street TV viewers, over the 6 interviews, will become very familiar with Kylin Network.
This is a great way to raise awareness for the blockchain industry and Kylin Network in particular. Since this series will be available for 540 million households, it will definitely get some eyes on the project:

Community Development
The Kylin Fire Tweet/Post Program will be an ongoing thing and the team continues to be on a constant lookout for tweets or telegram posts that help raise awareness for the Kylin project. The team is delivering at high speed and making huge progress but we really rely on our community as well to get the word of Kylin Network out there. We would like to ask all of you to help in raising awareness on social media and therefor we upped the max of the RNG from 25 to 50.
Together we can achieve great things and build a decentralized data infrastructure fully governed by the community that will last for decades! Exciting times are upon us and we are looking forward to be on this jouney with all of you!
